Hi!

We are doing MS analyses for extracellular vesicles isolated from plasma. The first time we did MS, we saw a lot of plasma abundant protein ( serum albumin, immunoglobulins and transferrrin) and these can interfiere in to get the low abundant protein in our samples. For that we want to try this depletion column and see how much proteins we get. However, for the extracellular vesicles samples we cannot run the column because they need to be treated with some detergent (RIPA or others based on MS facility) and the column is not compatible with that.

I would like to know if someone has experience on MS with extracellular vesicles from plasma and how we can deplete these proteins and increase the number of identified protein.

Thanks!
