Usually, I use CuSO4 as an antiseptic agent to prevent water contamination. But the CuSO4 crystallizes easily and runs out of the water container. Then I have to clean them out.
The only concern for me to use CPC is that I don't know whether if it evaporates. If the CPC solution does evaporate, then I'm afraid that it will corrode my CO2 incubator due to its corrosion character. The CPC concentration is 10mg/L.

You can use sodium azide other than CPC or CuS04 to prevent water contamination.
