Like prostatosphere, yes it is possible. Try the patient's CTC into sphere in RPMI and DMEM, both with Insulin added.

Yes indeed I want to do the mammosphere forming assay from patients CTCS. I am currently trying the media described in the paper you sent Valentin but I am not sure if it's gonna work for cells cultured individually.
