I tried to cite some articles but some of them are not correct? i mean when more than three authors then in some cases it shows et al., but with many it shows full authors names no matter how many they are? how to correct this? any expert opinion will be appreciated.

This happens because of different journals compiling references in different styles and formats. Using the PubMed index for importing references will sort this out for most of your citations.
Mendeley is a better free alternative especially because it can sync over several devices like your phone, desktop, tablet and laptop. However End Note is simpler to use especially when using with the Microsoft Word plugin. You can easily edit the references using this guide http://canterbury.libguides.com/endnote/basics-editing.
