I have TEM images of brains from infected hamsters? how can i differentiate stressed mitochondrion from normal healthy ones? any tips?
Thanks
sorry i mean transmission electron microscope...lol
Have a look at the normal and stressed mitochondria images/text from; PNAS 112 (33); 10162–10168.
Stress frequentle cause an increase in size and cristae number of mitochondria. Enlargement of mitochondria can be caused by various l conditions and can lead to the formation of megamitochondria.
Kind regards,
Daniela
thanks all
