I will be using it for 3d cultures and eventually invasion assays

Hi Darwin,
so what did you find to be the value Matrigel?
EZ cell Matrix is not relatively expensive as compared with conventional Matrigel you can obtain from BD technology. Both contain the laminin ECM. The amount of growth factors also contain the same level.
Hello Thomas,
for 5ml of Matrigel I found:
corning $182.81 + $55.00 S&H. Total $237.81
sigmaaldarich $241.00 (on the page it says it wont be ready to ship until September 2015)
trevigen $180.00 + $15.00 processing fee (says nothing about Shipping)
lifetechnologies $184.00 (says nothing about S&H)
I passed on to my supervisor the prices and she ended up making the decision of which one to buy.
Hi Go J Yoshida,
I appreciate the insight in to the EZ cell Matrix. I think it will be very useful for further experiments we want to conduct for specific assays.
cheers.
