Hi
Recently, I've worked with STRING database and I've found protein-protein interaction(PPI) between some proteins. I wanted to import the action view of it to Cytoscape software But Text Summery of STRING isn't based on action view.
I've used a Cytoscape plugin(CluPedia) for linking to STRING database But this plugin just shows "Activation,Binding,Expression and Ptmod interactions" and doesn't show "Inhibition, Phenotype,Catalysis and Reaction interactions". These actions are important for me. Can anyone help me? How can I import all of these actions to Cytoscape software?(I found CytoScape has a STRING plugin that works with version 2.7 but I dont know how does it work!).

Dear Maryam,
In the newer versions of cytoscape the plugin you should install is the one related to PSIQUIC database:
http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/psicquicuniversalclient
http://www.ebi.ac.uk/Tools/webservices/psicquic/view/main.xhtml
That database includes the information related to string and many others.
I hope that will help you, in case you need further information, just ask.
Download the selected PPI data from the string database and save it in txt or xlx, xlxs format. Open the Cytoscape and import your data and visualize it.
