Hello,
Does anyone know a highly sensitive method to quantify calcification in mouse blood vessels?
I understand that quantifying aortic calcium content can be quite variable when calcium amounts extracted are very small.
Thanks!
I do not have experience with mouse vessel calcification or amounts expected, but ashing, dissolving in HCl and and atomic absorption spectroscopy at 423nm works well for heart valve leaflets. regards. Deon
Why not do qPCR on Runx and other markers of calcification?
Thank you, this helped!
Hi. Has anyone used G-LISA or similar RhoA/Rac1/Cdc42 GTPase pulldown assays for analysis of murine whole organ lysates? It could theoretically work, but has anyone tried this? Thanks.
