I am trying to design primers so that I can check my transformations. I am using lambda red mutagenesis to knock out a gene and I have to use the pKD78 vector but I can only find the sequence for pKD48. I have read that they are the same thing with different antibiotic resistance genes but I would prefer to use the sequencing data that actually from pKD78.

Hi, you can try to ask the Coli Genetic Stock Center (http://cgsc.biology.yale.edu) for the sequence of pKD78. They have a strain that contains this plasmid and chances are good that they have the sequence in their database.
