Hi, maybe someone could help me with a question in regards with the sepharose beads. I have my molecule of interest bound to a cIgE, which has a specific binding domain that recognises NP and NIP molecules. And I would like to pool down this complex by IP with NIP-sepharose beads. I know this product was available in a few companies 4-5 years ago and it was used without problems, but nowadays they don't provide it anymore. Does anybody have any idea how I can solve this problem and obtain some beads to perform the IP of the complex? Thanks a lot!

There are beads which are activated (NHS-Sepharose) can bind to any protein of interest and protein can be selectively eluted using interacting partner. So search for ligand NP/NIP availability or get it synthesized and couple the ligand to NHS-sepharose.

Could you use Protein G instead? I believe it binds IgE, and should be more readily available.

As far as I know, the IgE cannot bind the Protein G nor A. At least those are the specificities from the data sheet.
