Is it possible to somehow define fiber orientations, or an anisotropic material respectively (e.g. by reading a fiber orientation tensor I got from a Moldex3D filling simulation) and thus calculate individual cyclic parameters for each homogenized element in FEsafe (similar to the routine Femfat uses)? So far I cannot recall seeing any such opportunity. FEA was performed with ABAQUS.

I guess you’re asking about modeling FRC in Abaqus. If I’m correct, you can create a set for the fibers and for concrete using the concrete-damaged plasticity model. The issue will be in the interaction between two sets. This interaction depends on the type of fibres. I hope it helps

I get the Material data for FEA from a Moldex3D CFD simulation (fiber reinfoced thermoplastic material with Mori Tanaka homogenization) and want to conduct a fatigue calculation on the FEA results with FEsafe. I know that for other fatigue software it is possible to implement a fiber orientation tensor, which I also get from CFD analyses for each element of the mesh, to calculate orientation dependent fatigue data, but cannot find any such possibility within FEsafe.

It seems your problem is complicated. But it should be mentioned that the short fibers may be distributed through the matrix randomly. This issue can be implemented in ABAQUS with Python code.
