I am getting quotes for TC incubators from several sources. The least expensive quote is for a Shell lab TC incubator, but I don't have experience with this company. The other models I have quoted are the Thermo Fisher, and VWR models, which I have used before. The difference in price isn't so great, so I am leaning toward the Fisher model.
I got a Shell Lab CO2 incubator (3 gas actually - CO2, air, N2, for reduced O2 environments) several years ago and have had a problem with vibration from the fan motor & fan that could not be fixed. I recommend seeing one in action in someone's lab before you buy. Get a 30-day or longer return guarantee with they pay the return/exchange shipping if they can't fix any problem within a week. Ditto for the other suppliers, but their incubators have been more reliable. Another thing to check is the stability of the temperature control circuits; some need continual tweeking to keep the right temperature, but that may be partly due to the location of the incubator (on top of a window radiator plinth but with insulation between them).
look CO2 incubators with interior round conners, to avoid acumulation of dirts. I have experience with Sanyo, Hereus/Thermo, Juan. Forma.

Karen, go with the Termo Fisher. You'll be happier. Ask them for a discount if you order another piece of equipment. Are you getting a -80?
