Respected Sir/ Madam,
Can anybody please tell me what possible enzyme assays or biochemical studies can be done to study toxicity studies in marine and fresh water algae, to study the toxic effect of treated and untreated textile dye effluent in algae. if possible please attach or suggest me relevant papers. I am currently using Tetraselmus species to test algal toxicity and also fresh water fishes exposed to dye effluents.

Thankyou so much Sir, for your valuable answer. But the good news is that, my work changed to Bioremediation than toxicity work.( As my algae is capable of decolourizing textile dye effluent samples, even dye bath). But i will do these studies to check tolerance of the algae and stress response to the effluent.
