Use Ethanol with dilution to avoid any harm to the 3D structure material. If the structure material is stable in alcohols, use pure ethanol. It worked with 100% results in our experiments. You can even apply some type of oils to the structure before casting the pdms on to it. These way after curing, the membrane comes off with a nominal manual force. The oil layer on the membrane and structure can be dissolve and cleaned out using ethanol.

Thanks for responding. I usually clean the mold with IPA or ethanol before curing PDMS.

I have not tried oil yet. Do you have any specific recommendation on what type of oil I should use?

In my case hair oil did the trick. Practically any oil should work!!
