I am collecting BMAC samples from human subjects, and plan to analyse the MSC count from each sample and assess growth factors for ELISA. However, I can only obtain the samples in a dripfeed manner, so need to freeze samples until I can analyse them all at once. Does anyone know if BMAC can be frozen without damaging the cell contents and growth factors? Is it similar to normal freezing protocols ? i.e. FBS +DMSO?

Any help gratefully received :)
