PAB : the antioxidant-prooxidant balance :(
I'm working on antioxidant of a plant on DNA. I have to do the PAB assay on my serum and plant extracts. could you please send me an article or something which explains this assay clearly?
Hi, Simin, can you be more precise about yout task? I think you have to measure ROS accumulation, whcih is really deminstatare balance between oxidation and scavnger of the ROS. There are a couple of methods you can use, and it is dependent form your object.
But in this case you need a living tissue. Plant extract can jot shiow you ROS balance. If you can desribe your task more detally, I can sugegst you some konkretic protocols.
