When I read Dairy cow training manual, I found that a situation of cow being in heat and soon after conception (Hormonal changes) is one of the factor which may result the milk o be rejected. As we know, within around 2-3 months of calving, the cow will be come in heat (PPH) which is due to high level of estrogen and conception will follow on which the level of progesterone will become high for maintenance of pregnancy. As far as my knowledge is concerned, I don’t see a farm which restricts milk consumption during these situations. Can change in hormone  actually cause the milk to be rejected?, if yes,  I am very happy if you provide me research based justification on how those hormonal changes affects quality of milk.

  Thank you in advance!!!
