So I stained mouse JC cells with phaloidin (red) after treatment (right picture) and found that most of the cells generated this structure in the apices of the cells compared to control group (left). What could it be? I thought it could be focal adhesions from stress fibers of actin. But phaloidin does not bind to focal adhesions, right? Does anybody have any experience that can share?

Thanks!
