I do not think antibody will determine the percentage of agarose gel. However, you have to have a particular percentage of agarose gel for proper resolution.
Thanks Salilda. This is a DNA methylation PCR product. Here is no antibody question. I found several scientists use different % of agarose gel to see the methylated and unmethylated PCR product. I got confused.
It depends on your product size. Suppose for 100 bp product 2% is suitable. More the product size less concentration needed. But less than 0.8 % difficult to handle.
Is this PCR performed with bisulfite converted DNA? or is the result of a Methylation-specific PCR reaction? in both cases the answer is the same as the suggested by Kousik.
