I'm doing a research on the enhancement of biogas production using grass, chicken manure, cow dung and pig manure.I have attached the bottles with sample to a gasbag. So that afterwards the gasbag can be used to measure the volume of gas produced. I have repeated this experiment 3 times without succes. I have increased the mass and changed the temperature from mesophilic to thermophilic. After 32 days there is still no swelling of the gasbags. However in the lab near the gasbags there is a smell of gas production.

A new method to significantly enhance biogas generated by cowdung,solid waste sewage etc. production using iron nano particles has been developed. The new delivery system based on Fe3O4.(magnetite)This method is proven, nanoparticles leads to enhanced anaerobic digestion, and consequently to higher methane production and organic matter processing. The improved performance is due to the presence of Fe+2/Fe+3 ions, introduced into the reactor in the form of nanoparticles in a similar way to controlled drug delivery system these new iron oxide nanoparticles have been successfully tested in anaerobic digestion processes with sludge from real wastewater treatment plants, demonstrating significant improvement of biogas production (up to 70% increase in methane production) at a low cost, making it a very market-friendly technology with applications in other areas such as industrial residues, urban solid residues (USR) or even agricultural wastes.
There is possibility that your gasbags or gasbags channel is leakage, so there is the gas smell around the gasbags. You should check it, maybe you can soak it on the water or use soap bubble to check the leakage. Another possibility, you should provide some appropriate conditions related with your raw materials and fermentation condition such as : raw material C/N ratio, pH, water content, etc. It's a good effort that you have increased the temperature, because it will optimize the biogas production.

Now coming to your Query, Its a great step ahead increasing the temperature but according to my literature survey approx 20 Kg of cowdung(Fresh) is required to produce around 1m3 of biogas so for a while I suppose your bottle contains 200gm of cow dung , so will produce 0.01 m3 of gas, which is very less.I suggest to incerase the quantity of raw material you use.
Secondly, as suggested by Sir "Satriyo Krido Wahono " you should consider the leakage in the system.As small amount of gas is seriously precious for you.
At last, I admire the research attempted at your side, but i also suggest rather to work on enhancement of biogas production , work of enhancing the Methane Content and lowering the CO2 Content in Net Biogas produced.

Depends on the gas bag weight
simple remove the gas or air from the bag and ensure it hangs on a support and make sure that the gas entrance into the bag is not holded automatically the gas will fill in for sure
