Yes, I am using a Dell Precision M4700 laptop and it has a Nvidia Quadro K1000 VGA. That supports in simulations.

The CUDA programming facility is available across the huge range of Nvidia cards.
The capability and features available have grown over time but even quite old much cheaper cards can be used for development and pre-production trials. Like with most tech picking up last years model can get almost all the capability without paying a bonus for the glamour of the latest and greatest kit.
You would need to be more specific as to the capability and other software environment you are using to get a good match. I would strongly suggest not trying to do remove development in the early days of project development but establish working models on what ever card you can get then scale out to bette kit once proven to be working. Look at older gammers rigs on ebay to pick up a cheaper starter CUDA capable card.
