I would like to know the gene responsible for synthesis of phytosphingosine not phytoceramide (des2) in human epithelial cells. If anyone have this information please share with me.

Does OD is directly proportional to Myelonperoxidase activity in MPO assay by colorimetry?

I am using abcam MPO assay kit. They says in the web OD is inversely related to MPO activity. Does anyone explain how it could be? It seems directly proportional from my calculations.
