Hi,

I use LS-DYNA to simulate the steel composite shear wall now.

I use MAT_084/085 to simulate concrete, MAT_159 to simulate steel plates, and MAT_024 to simulate studs.

The concrete section is solid, the steel plate section is shell, and the stud section is beam.

But now there is a problem that the drift ratio of the maximum lateral force in the finite element model does not match the drift ratio obtained by the experiment, as shown in the figure.

It can be seen from the figure that the maximum lateral force of the experiment occurs at about 1% of the drift ratio, but my finite element model occurs at about 3% of the drift ratio.

I have modified the contact, constraint, and some boundary conditions, but there is still no way to have a better fit.

So I want to ask if you have any ideas to make the maximum lateral force happen earlier, so that the finite element model and experiment have a good fitting result.
