it is very hard to find/ get a job any job (related to your studies or not these days!!!). how can we tackle this matter? please, your contributions and ideas will be appreciated very much.
No doubt, we study to achieve our ambition. To achieve ambition, we have to develop our talent/skills so as to meet the industry/employers requirements.
We have to satisfy the our interests and it is good if it is useful for our employers. For me, my higher studies are for my own interests and benefits, but it is useful for my institution also as an academic institution. I will not be ready for a study for my employer if it is not interesting to me.
My ambition and desire were to be a control engineer and work for the government, or for any private company (even though we did not have any company need control engineer at that time!!!) so I achieved all that. but now it is very hard to achieve that for new starter. Now, if the government expels or dismisses me from work, I can not find a job with my specialization and qualification.
Key challenge is to sustain and grow in organizations requires not only to meets the needs of our dependents and includes higher end priorities, It requires leaders (like us) to ensure the high expectations of organisation, system of accountability, covering staff at all levels and other supervisory bodies. Further more we need to improve the quality of our work and assessment so that they meet the diverse needs of all stake holders, and support our subordinates in progressing onto our next step.
One is very very happy with his/her study but s/he can not find a job related to his/her study these days!!!! I think, this is a very hard and discouraging situation for new graduate these days.
I think aims of studying differ from country to country as, of course, they differ between persons. In my country, nearly all persons study to earn a living in the future & because we have no other choice. We have probably the highest percent of university-educated persons/poulation in the world. This is not because we are smart but our country has been in troubles,as you know, for so many years.
Both are important, personal achievement and satisfaction, and being recognized as an expert in industry. Actually, as we get older and more experienced, we recognize the importance of being satisfied with our desires. But, young have more challenges in deciding to follow personal desires or to become professionals in industry and to ensure personal existence. Recently, I have got some opinions from students that it is better to be professional. I feel that it depends on ages and personal views on life - and that changes as we get older.
Most of us study for both intrinsic and extrinsic reasons. Fulfilling the needs of industry and employers is extrinsic. To study because of our interest is intrinsic. Intrinsic motivation is thought to produce high quality learning. At the end of the day, when grades are out of the picture, the intrinsically motivated student becomes a lifelong learner.
But in my country, students are mostly extrinsically motivated. So extrinsic motivation must be used with wisdom to produce students with higher order thinking skills. This paper may be of interest to you:

In my particular case, learning gives me lots of pleasure ... I can not sit still in time..i admire people who i "think know more than me", because they bring me new knowledge that make me see how little I still know ... it's like a running without end, where for more than i try to keep up with the knowledge more it seems to get away from me ... so I can not stop learning ... .Only when i die!
One might say that the ambition is important to proceed in the career and succeed!
As for talent, in my particular case i easily make connection between different issues ... Perhaps we all are connected in some way, like in a puzzle?
Industries and organizations are constituted by a large number of skilled people and its products are meant to the society. However it has control of a person directly or indirectly. It technology invented is devoted to such a company/firm, it is good enough. But when talent is utilized to the humanity, it will be better. Actually societies should be constituted in such a way that talent and energy of a talented person utilized efficiently for whole the society.
The second matter is that wisdom and intellect are social properties and it should benefit all the humanity. Sometimes an intellectual could not get proper information due to copyright issues. I think governments should pay to the authors/societies and knowledge/information should be in open access for better utilization.
