If assume that you are taking about fecal DNA testing for colorectal cancer.
I got curious about your question. A long time ago I had some discussion about this type of test when it was in much earlier stage of development. Then they made serious efforts to separate human from bacterial DNA. I tried to check what the current state of the art is but could not find a paper quickly. so I check with Cologuard where someone told me that they do not separate human DNA. The same person also said that their medical team may add some further reply to your question on this web page.
Thank you for your answer.I am going to do genetic test for colorectal cancer(prediction of postoperative recurrence and treatment effect) but not the fecal DNA.But i curious:will the extraction and detection of DNA or RNA in intestinal tumor be difficult? Because there are a large number of intestinal flora and foreign interference in the intestinal tract.Do the intestinal bacteria DNA interfere with the detection of DNA in human colorectal cancer?
