Last week we adsorbed cardiolipin on polysterene microplates and nitrocellulose. We tested sera from healthy people and VDRL-positive sera. Sera from healthy people produced as a high signal as syphilis sera. We detected IgG's using carbon particles-protein G conjugate. Conjugate showed no binding with cardiolipin in control test. We changed pH, added detergents, but signal was equally high in positive and negative sera. What can be the reason of such phenomenon?
