I have synthesized cerium oxide nanoparticles but they are not showing antibacterial activity at low dose, even at 10 mg/mL concentration there's minute antibacterial activity. Although there is antibacterial activity reported in literature.

from which physical observation did you obtain an antibacterial activity?
How did you decide it does not exhibit as you expected? It would help if you clarified your question in a specific manner or probe so that people can understand, and answer your question.

Murat Sertkol I use the broth dilution method to determine antibacterial activity. I checked via agar diffusion method as well but there was almost no antibacterial activity against both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.

I have checked against MRSA, E.coli, P. aeruginosa and K. pneumoniae but cerium oxide nanoparticles didn't show any apparent antibacterial activity against these strains.
I didn't check against any fungal strains.
In literature some studies reported the antibacterial activity of cerium oxide nanoparticles, however some reported no toxic effect of cerium oxide nanoparticles against bacteria.
I am interested to know whether I need to change some conditions like pH?
