Check to see if there are any publications with primers. Or if the mutation is known, you could try designing your own. From experience, I know that some worm strains can only be genotyped by "old-school" genetics (score progeny to determine genotype of parent(s)) and/or Sanger sequencing for a diagnostic SNP. I already designed primer and then go for the sequencing. but just wanted to know whether anyone has better way to do so because this mutation is a point mutation.
