there are several protocol online and even some video (Article Whole Animal Perfusion Fixation for Rodents

) but the trickiest part is to identify where insert the PFA needle and which part of the heart to cut and they are a bit hard to explain. I would suggest you to find someone able to already do it successfully and show to you. Good luck

Hi @ Matteo Senesi,

Thank you for your suggestion. Can 10% Neutral Buffered Formaldehye be used in place of 4% PFA?

I personally use NBF for fix tissue immersion and 4%PFA for frozen sections
