DNA precipitation, is it absolutely necessary to centrifuge at 4 degree?

Hi,

I recently purchased a MidiPrep Kit, and the protocol said at DNA precipitation stage, I need centrifuge the sample 12,000 at 4 degree C.

The problem is my lab does not have this temperature-controlled centrifuge. I would like to ask if anyone has experience on centrifuging the sample in room temperature for DNA precipitation?

Will this still work?
