Things that you can do to get the convergence in ANSYS workbench

1.Check the skewness of the mesh 

2. Use adjust to touch option 

3.Add weak springs

My two cents:

1. Identify which type of non-linear analysis that you are dealing with (material or geometry non-linearity).

2. Converging on displacement is usually not representative. Plot a graph on any quantity (eg. disp, stress, strain energy) against element no (refine the elements a few times to examine the graph pattern). If the graph approaches asymptote, convergence is achieved.

3. Convergence on stress should be the final check.
