Do we get the same (or different) onset/half-wave potentials using different templates (like CaCO3,SiO2, or without template) for PEMFC ORR? As far as I know, we get different current densities using different templates but I am not sure about the potentials.
Also can we exactly know onset potential directly from CV graph in presence of O2 usinf any software? As the usual way is to plot CV for O2 as well as inert gas (N2/Ar).

Onset/half-wave potential depends on materials activity. Using different temple if you are synthesized different activity materials then onset/half-wave potential will be different.
From the ORR voltammogams ( CV graph in presence of oxygen) you can get the onset potential.

The question was, if we are synthesizing same material for ORR using different templates, will there be different onset/half-wave potentials or not?
My second question was regarding the use of any software that can give us exact value of onset potential. Although we may get it from CV (in O2) graph but most of the time, its difficult to get exact value (e.g., you may judge onset potential of 0.9V from CV while actually it may be 0.87V or 0.92V when you compare it with CV graph in N2/Ar).
