Hello, I´m trying to use this PEI reagent since it is way cheaper than others transfection reagents. In my first shot using it in a co-cultured MDCK-293T cells cells looked shrank, is it normal? Does anyone have a protocol using PEI in co-cultured MDCK-293T cells? Any comments will be helpful for me. Thanks in advance!
I tried to transfect hek293t cells once with PEI, however I found the calcium phosphate transfection protocol to be better and more reliable. The best results and lower toxicity is obtained with the BBS calcium phosphate transfection protocol.
