Cyclic voltammetry of potassium ferricyanide in a microfluidic chip containing integrated gold working electrodes and ITO as the counter electrode leaves brown spots at the working electrode surface (deposition of Iron, probably). Does anyone has a solution to it? Is there any other electroactive analyte which does not deposit at the electrode and can be used as a standard sample for the optimization of microfluidic electrochemical system?
