As you can see from the graph, I initially observed a peak, but after the first scan, the peak started to diminish, and despite trying with a new solution, I couldn't achieve the same peak again. I experimented with different concentrations, buffers, scan rates, and working electrodes, but nothing seemed to work.
My setup is as follows; μStat-i 400s Potentiostat, DropView 8400; 3 electrode system - GCE, Ag/AgCl, Pt.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, it depends on the scan rate and type of system.
What is the scan rate used and which analyte used.
If we go for a faster scan rate, there will not be any time left for the reduced or oxidized species to diffuse to the electrode or away from the electrode. Which will result in less current in the subsequent scan.
