Would be nice if you could develop new models instead of tweaking the Belbin Model.

Dear colleagues! Do you think that all the team roles according to the Belbin model* will remain unchanged in the future?

I find Belbin model (the 9 Team Roles) still relevant / applicable in today's setting e.g. in project team scenario.  Can anyone share any newer model(s) that exclude or include additional team roles?  Thanks.

A few words about the background of the question about the role of Belbin. My acquaintance with her happened 13 years ago thanks to the IBM training center. Since then, I actively use it, both in working with employees, and with students and in consulting activities. The trend that I observe in the test results over the last 5-6 years is that some roles have become less pronounced. My hypothesis is that this is the influence of modern information technology tools that become "virtual participants" of real teams, taking on some "roles" that were previously inherent in living people. At first it was only one role, then two, at the moment I suspect that already 3 roles out of 9 can perform IT solutions. That's why I asked this question.
