Dear Colleagues! Can you tell me by what method you determine the activity of strontium-90?

Is it only radiochemistry or can it be an instrumental method like a beta spectrometer with identification by the maximum energy of beta radiation of strontium-90 (about 535 keV) or its daughter yttrium-90 (about 2260 keV)?

I forgot to add that we are talking about natural objects (soil, peat) with strontium-90 activity from 0.2 Bq/kg to 50-70 Bq/kg in the sample
