I would like to know any reference or suggestions regarding the title.
our CTMA-DNA complex could dissolve in high polar organic solvents such as butonal or methonal etc but not in low polar solvents such as Chloroform or Hexane.
Is there any method or reference work to try. Please comment on it.

A solvent for CTMA-DNA complex is a 4:1:0.07 mixture of chloroform, ethanol, water. If you want to have solubility in a less polar solvent, e.g. pure chloroform, you must chose another quarternary ammonium salt instead of cetyltrimethylammonium chloride for formation of the DNA conplex, e.g. tetraoctylammonium chloride or bromide, tridodecylmethylammonium chloride or tetraoctylphosphonium bromide.

It depends on the task. If you want to have pure DNA, try guanidine thiocyanate or ammonium trichloroacetate.
