Pierce used to be the gold standard for protein modification reagents with detailed protocols including crosslinkers and they had knowledgeable technical staff.
Pierce has been taken over by thermofisher and their phone twinkies don't give a shit about your technical problems.
TMo have indeed just released a new version of their crosslinking reagents guide (https://tools.thermofisher.com/content/sfs/brochures/1602163-Crosslinking-Reagents-Handbook.pdf). Quick question though - is there a specific reason to go for glutaraldehyde and not something more specific, e.g. BS3?
