Covid-19 vaccines will be useful for the new variant discovered in the UK?
Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be effective against the new mutant variant of SARS-CoV-2 discovered in the United Kingdom.
So far there is no evidence found that variant is different. But one variant in PCR have shown negative for spike gene , however others were reactive.
As long as the nucleic acid tests are fit for purpose, there shouldn't be any problem !!
