Please , go through my paper entitled Reflective Study on the Level of Learning of Integrated Science and Curriculum Journal of Indian Education XXV 73(2000)
creo que los estudiantes deben comenzar aprendiendo por parcelas secuenciadas y después integrar los diferentes aspectos, de lo contrario se harán un lio y no aprenderán nada.
In the early 1990s, the National Science Teachers Association launched the Scope, Sequence, and Coordination (SSC) Project that focused on middle school science and received funding from NSTA. At least two major publishers prepared textbooks for the SSC schools. The program was short-lived for various reasons. A description of the program and complete copies of units prepared can be found at http://dev.nsta.org/ssc/ Many other references to the project can be found using an internet search mechanism.
Here are a couple more references that I think are important. I chose them because they make you question whether "integrative science" means the same for different people, which would make a comparative study difficult. Whatever integrative science is, it's supposed to be 21st century science.
