In yeast, we face to the problem of recombinant protein expression because of its ability in hyperglycosylation.
If I aim to reduce the hyperglycosylation without affect to the growth of the Yeast Pichia pastoris, Does any gene which involve in glycosylation pathway can answer to my aim?
Because I find many papers, but don't found any deletion of gene that can effectively reduce hyperglycosylation in P. pastoris and don't reduce the growth.

Deletion of the och1 mannoysltransferase is the mutant that is most widely used to reduce hypermannosylation. It does not completely eliminate all mannoses that become side-branched to N-glycans in the yeast Golgi, but it eliminates the bulk of hypermannosylation. However, it does have a growth phenotype. There are several published uses of the delta-och1 background for production of heterologous glycoproteins (and as a background for glycoengineering), and some growth conditions and bioprocessing approaches can help the strain's growth, but I am not aware of any reports that this mutant background can be brought fully back to wild-type health.
Do you need it to be glycosylated at all? If you can live without any glycosylation, the easiest thing might be to mutate the glycosylation site on your protein.
