hi, i just harvested xenograft from naked mice after injected human tumor cell for tumor proliferation assay in vivo. i want to detect KI-67 expression in the tumorsection by IHC assay. but i am confused by which host antibody to choose, rabbit or mouse? maybe rabbit more suitable. so i want to know whether i can use mouse host antibody to use, for in the adjacent mesenchyma beside tumor, the tissue most likely is mouse orginal. thanks a lot!

The better way for localization of Ki67 in mouse origin tissue beside tumor, use the Rabbit origin Ab., but for for Ki67 the mouse origin monoclonal Ab are best one and more specific. If u wish to use Mouse origin primary Ab use the MOM vector kit. (kit specifically made for blocking the mouse IgG's).
