I would like to know the possible effects on the cell mambranes due to proteins and lipids with the onset of liver cancer.I am working on a project based on the same topic.
are you taking proteins and lipids as dietary supplements?? if so nothing would happen on protection from any kind of cancer. And moreover, cancer is a disease that has its root in genetic metabolism, not in cell membranes.
cancer is a more complex disease whch takes in consideration several aspects of a cell, including modification in metabolism (for instance lipids) or in protein language and transport. That means that specific proteins can link at proteins in cell membranes and inducing considerant modification in terms of potential and protein traffic. But, as Mohd said, in which way do you give the proteins and lipids to...in vivo or in vitro? And at which point of liver cancer?
Membranes of cancer cells are more fragile than in non-cancer tissue. Some ways of research show that this could be used to destroy these cells (for example by electric)... do you mean some molecules destroying membrane???
I agree about cancer cell fragility, but tumor complexity as Ms Ritorto mentioned and high adaptability of cancer cells make them less vulnerable in the perspective of most treatment modalities approved in clinical practice. in vivo vs. in vitro is very essential also.
Yeah thats true... But I´m not looking for imunotherapy... I don´t want to use receptors as a target.. I want some molecule that will be build in membrane and then could destroy it...(as most molecules used as chemo to build in DNA)...
