Dear Respected Colleagues

Apoptosis is one of the mechanisms via which omega 3 PUFAs exerts its Chemoprevention and/or Antineoplastic activity, Apoptosis may be due to its incorporation into the phospholipid of the cell membrane and so production of ROS which triggers Apoptosis.

I'd like to ask what is the cause behind that Omega 3 PUFAs "only" incorporated into the cell membranes of Cancerous Cells triggering its Death "PCD or Apoptosis"?

Do Omega 3 PUFAs have a Selectivity?
