I've observed that a few people here respond to enquiries using ChatGPT. I'm not sure if this is a wise strategy. People must indicate that their replies are provided by ChatGPT. Your thoughts on this are appreciated.
You are definitely right, cover use of ChatGPT in discussions (and papers) is severe misconduct. Luckily, ChatGPT answers are clearly recognisable - dull and senseless.
ResearchGate should take responsibility for these responses by using a simple tracking system to identify the ChatGPT-powered answers, or they will lose their questioners and non-machine-based respondents. People would ask their questions in the hopes of obtaining responses from human experts rather than robots.
