Hi everyone. Does anyone know how to model an air to water reversible heat pump to feed the heated and cooled floor (radiant surface) in Designbuilder detailed HVAC? I can find air to water heat pump only for heating and it is not possible to make it reversible.

Qamar Ul Islam Thank you for your suggestion. I think for now there is no other option than using an air-cooled chiller to supply the cold water loop as mentioned in the discussion.

Dear Ramin,
a) if you mean the conversion of heating to cooling (and vice versa) in heat pumps, I would like to say that it is possible. As you mentioned the air to water heat pump heat can be used for both heating and cooling applications.
b) if you mean reversible state changes, it should be stated that in thermodynamic matters, reversibility is for those systems without losses in the term of energy, which is not possible in reality for the systems like heat pumps and refrigerators.
