I have data set on 5 variables ( 4 IVs and 1 DV), all the measurement based on 5 Likert scale show 1=Strongly disagree to 5=Strongly agree.
First I have to check normality test First or what i have do first to test the hypothesis.

Could you clarify your question please- what is your hypothesis? Do you seek information about using a CFA and/or SEM? Typically you would use a CFA if you were testing a hypothesis about factor structure, for example, do your IVs belong to one or two latent variables? However, since you have DVs and IVs I am assuming you would like to test a SEM with paths from the four IVs to your DV, correct? If so, to test the SEM you could use the two-step approach (see Kline, 2011) consisting of an initial measurement model (i.e., how well the latent variables are defined by the indicator variables) followed by an analysis of the full SEM model. I would be happy to share syntax with you for MPlus.
