•CaM hexaferrite from Azadirachta indica and Murraya koenigii extracts exhibited structural variations. Murraya koenigii CaM had a magnetization of 11.78 Am2/kg, while Azadirachta indica CaM showed 3.56 Am2/kg. Both had a magnetically soft, multidomain structure with a 2.01 eV energy bandgap. Dielectric values differed, with Murraya koenigii at ∼25 and Azadirachta indica at ∼200 (at ∼20 Hz).
