Cell cultures of kidney tissue of King crab for cytogenetics?

Hi,

I aim to analyze karyotype of two sister species of King crab and i had read that cell cultures from fish kidney tissue had gave good results. However, i didn't found information of cell culturing in king crabs, so i'm doubtful of the conditions to achieve a cell culturing for this group. I know that this would depend of physiological characteristics of the species. Someone has experience with cell cultures in crabs?

Something like that awaits me, since I did not find much information. Finally i could achieved my cytogenetic treatments without the need for cell cultures. Anyway, thank you very much...I will keep the documents and information shared with me for future challenges.
